He LOVED the water. It would make him go right to sleep! We didn't ever put him in the sand, because I was so afraid he would eat it! We only carried him down on the beach one day. The rest of the time we stayed at the pool. He had fun splashing in the water and just relaxing!
On July 4th, we always ride the Sea Screamer. I would suggest if you go to Panama City Beach, you must ride the Sea Screamer. It is a family tradition and we have ridden it every year since my brother was like 4. He's almost 20 now. We usually go during the week of 4th of July, and they always do a Fireworks cruise to the Bay to watch the AMAZING fireworks show the City of Panama City puts on every year. This year, mom stayed at the room with Bentley and dad, my brother, Kip & I went.
As always, we eat pretty good. That is one of dad's favorite things to do at the beach, so he takes pride in taking us out to eat at lots of nice places. We always eat at Uncle Ernies on the Bay on Sunday night. PLEASE if you are in Panama City EVER, you have to eat there at least once! It is wonderful! It has a deck you can sit on that overlooks the marina. We usually go pretty early for dinner, but we have seen some beautiful sunsets from this spot before!
Monday was 4th of July. We usually eat at Pineapple Willy's or Hammerhead Fred's before riding the boat. I cannot remember which one we ate at this year. But it was a delicious meal I'm sure!
Tuesday, we went to Pier Park to eat and play at Dave and Busters. Honestly, the food is not my favorite, but the atmosphere is so fun....and we love arcade games, so we always have a good time!
Wednesday is ALWAYS Angelo's night. Another MUST EAT place when you go to PCB. It is one of our favorites for sure, but get there early! It fills up FAST! They have the best steak I have ever eaten...no question! Also, you must get your picture in front of the big bull. (Is that what it is??)
Thursdays are usually up in the air. This year, we went to Pompano Joe's for dinner then to play putt-putt. Bentley enjoyed dinner and the game of putt-putt clearly, because he slept the ENTIRE time.
Our last night is always Captain Anderson's night. It's the end of the vacation as we always say.
We enjoyed our first vacation as a family of 3. It was much different than we were used to, but we love getting to experience all these things with Bentley in tow! He is such a good baby and wonderful traveler!
