Tuesday was our lazy day. We stayed in and ate lunch at the cabin. We were scheduled to go to the Lumberjack Feud Dinner Show that night. We got bored and decided to go into town a little early and hit up a few shops...especially the Christmas Shop!!
Doors opened at 4:15 for the Lumberjack Feud, so we headed over and went in. We got to our seats and I wasn't exactly sure what to expect.
I knew we were going to eat dinner and watch a show, but what kind of show?? I had no idea. Kip thought it was like the lumberjack competitions where they cut wood and stuff. He was SO excited. He said I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much as he would though. We went in and sat down. Great Seats! We were the McGraws (at this point, I had no clue what that meant!). We were sitting down and waiter came up and took our drink order. Sweet tea for me of course! :) Then this girl came up and asked Kip if he wanted to participate. He said he would...she asked him if he would climb a tree. A TREE? WHATTTTT?? He agreed! I was a nervous wreck. He was excited...typical man.
We got our dinner...it was delicious. Baked chicken, pork loin with gravy, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans, a roll, and an apple fritter.
The show was awesome. I mean...completely awesome. Best show I have EVER seen! HIGHLY recommend spending $50.00/per person to see it!
Kip was right on about the lumberjack competitions. But he was dead wrong about me not enjoying it! LOVED IT!!! He participated in one of the competitions....the tree climb. And he won! That's right. My man won! :)
We had an awesome time...probably one of the best days of the trip for sure! :)

Honeymoon Day 2
Our first FULL day in Gatlinburg (we were actually between Pigeon Forge, & Gatlinburg...but I just call it all Gatlinburg) was definitely my LEAST favorite day...for only 1 reason. WINDHAM!! UGH!!
We woke up pretty early to this:
SNOW ON THE GROUND and still falling! It was beautiful! We had the most gorgeous views out of the master bedroom! One whole wall were floor to ceiling windows! It was gorgeous! The tree was favorite!! Right outside the window by our bed!!
We got up and got ready to go to our 2 hour presentation at Windham. We get there...there are 2 other couples besides us. I don't want to go into detail...but don't let them say they wont pressure you to buy anything...because THEY DO!!!!!!!!! Oh it was awful!! We got there at 12:30 and didn't get to leave until ALMOST 4pm!! Because they kept on trying to get us to buy a timeshare-points-whatever it was. It was a very good "idea"...just not something we wanted to do. But they were NOT going to take NO for an answer. We finally made it out of there...thanks to our rep-Brian. He in no way pressured us or anything. It was the other guys who kept on coming over to us. So anyway-we got our tickets for our shows and headed to the Titanic Museum.
The Titanic Museum was awesome! It is so neat! You get a boarding pass when you enter. It tells you which passenger you were. Kip was Richard May, a first class passenger who was on the Board of Directors of the White Star Lines - the owners of the Titanic. I was Dorothy Gibson, a first class passenger who was a movie star.
You walk through each different room/area/ etc. You have a little phone looking thing and you can listen to the different stories. It was SUPER neat and I suggest if you ever go to Gatlinburg to check it out! My favorite part was getting to walk out onto the "deck" and feel how cold the water was and touch the "iceberg".
In the end, you find out if you lived or died. Kip and I both lived! SCORE!
After we finished the tour, we went to eat dinner at Chick-Fil-A...romantic, I know! HaHa!
Then we hit up the outlets! We found some awesome deals at the Under Armour outlet and mayor may not have spent a little too much money in there! Kip got a really nice jacket, a tshirt, and a new compression shirt. I got some sweatpants and some yoga pants...but realized they were a kids large when we got back to the cabin. They fit...just a little short, so I decided to keep them!
We headed back to the cabin to spend sometime in the hot tub then went to bed...before 10 pm!

Wedding Night & Honeymoon Day 1
After we left the church, we headed to the house to swap cars (we took Kip's jeep since it is 4 wheel drive in case it snowed and we were stuck...good idea??) and get some last minute items. We had already packed the car the night before, but we had a few grocery items to put in the cooler. We headed for Chattanooga around 5:30-6:00ish. We made it to Chattanooga with hardly any traffic at all! When we got to the Holiday Inn Express in Chattanooga, we took our stuff up to the room, but I forgot to get our goody bag they packed for us at the reception, so we didn't get to eat any of that food....except the pasta salad! I LOVE pasta salad, so I brought a HUGE freezer bag full of it and ate it on the way. It was DE-LISH! We were both STARVING when we got to Chattanooga, so we started looking for a pizza place that would deliver to the hotel, but there weren't any that would!?!? So, we decided to go to Five Guys. We ordered and brought it back to the room. We ate then pretty much crashed...we were exhausted. We got up the next morning to head to Gatlinburg. We didn't make it to the free breakfast in time, so we decided to eat an early lunch-late breakfast....I guess you'd call it a brunch. We decided to stop at Cracker Barrell in Athens, TN--it was CROWDED!! It was a Sunday after all! After we ate, we headed for Gatlinburg. We had no idea where our cabin was...just had the GPS leading the way. When we got into Sevierville, the GPS told us to turn off the Parkway, so we followed it. It took us down some back road that was barely wide enough for us to get down (Boogertown Road) for about 10 miles, then it told us to turn on South Boogertown Road. So we turn....it told us to turn on Red Roof or something, but where it told us to turn was a wooded area. So we had to turn around...on a very narrow road...Kip had to basically back down a hill and try not to run off into this 8 foot drop off. We finally get turned around and I pull out the printed directions that the wonderful Mrs. Mary (Cabin Owner) gave us. It told us to turn onto King Branch Road....well about 5 miles before we turned onto South Boogertown, I remember seeing King Branch Road. So we went back to that road and turned. The directions on the paper were perfect. But...I should have read them first, because it said NOT to follow a GPS! My bad. So anyway--we finally make it to Sky Harbor area where our cabin is. The directions were giving me a headache, because it was turn right here, turn left here, go straight then turn, etc. The printed directions were pretty accurate with the GPS....until we got on Cedar Pass....the GPS told us to go to Balsam Circle. The printed directions told us to go Cedar Pass to Holly Pass. Kip wanted to follow the GPS even though I INSISTED we follow the printed directions. So Balsam Circle we go. BAD BAD BAD idea. Narrow Road...DEAD END!! He had to back up the road because there was no where to turn around. He had to fold his mirror in, so he wouldn't hit the side of the hill on his side. So I told him we might want to follow the directions on the paper from now on. He was griping and complaining and said we weren't leaving the cabin if we ever got there. Well we finally made it...3 from the last cabin in the whole little area. But it was beautiful!! We got the car unloaded, rested for a few minutes then we decided to try and find a way to Walmart. I knew there HAD to be a better way to get out of this place. And there was. If we would have stayed on the Parkway (if you know anything about Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, etc. you know it is the main road that goes from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg), we would have turned JUST past the last light in Pigeon Forge. It took us 45 minutes to get from where we turned off the Parkway to our cabin the first time. It took about 15 minutes that time. SO MUCH EASIER...and SO RELIEVED. I love my hubby, but didn't want to be locked up in a cabin on the side of a mountain for 7 days! :)
So we went to Walmart and stocked up on groceries just in case it snowed...because there was no TRYING to get out of our cabin and up and down those hills if it snowed. We spend a good bit of money, but ate in the cabin for the majority of our meals, so I am sure that saved LOTS of money. On our way out of Walmart, this lady asked us if we were going to any shows....we said yes and she asked if we wanted some discount tickets....so off we went. Mistake #1.
She started asking us what shows we wanted to see..etc.etc.etc. So she told us we could go to the Lumberjack Feud Dinner Show and the Comedy Barn show for a total of $30.00. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTT?? That is savings of over $100.00....what's the catch?? HAHA! And that is exactly what Kip asked. Well...she was a lady from Windham. She said all we had to do was go sit through their 2 hour presentation and the tickets were ours. So....we decided WHY NOT? We get 2 shows for less than what 1 show would cost. What's 2 hours?? Well.....that was Mistake #2. HaHa! More on that in Day 2.
So we scheduled our time for 12:30 on Monday. What would 2 hours hurt??
So we headed back to the cabin...a MUCH smoother drive this time! We got all settled in and went to bed!
Our first day was an ADVENTURE! We were hoping that wasn't a sign as to how the rest of the trip would turn out.

Our Wedding Day - 2/8/2014
February 8th, 2014....our wedding day. The best day of my life-so far!
I woke up VERY early that morning to get my hair done. Dad drove me to the hair salon and Mom picked me up. She needed a little extra time to get ready, and it worked out perfectly. Deanna did my hair and it looked gorgeous! I loved it!! After we left the salon, we headed to the church. The nerves were beginning to set in. We were the first ones at the church, other than my cousin Toni and Aunt Nancy. They had brought my cake. It was PERFECT!!! I didn't want them to cut it! I had a few minutes to look around at the reception area. It was PERFECT! Everything was perfect!
We headed down to the basement to start getting ready. Lexie, my ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL photographer (seriously if you are getting married and need a photographer please look her up-LYBPhotos), showed up not long after and started taking pics of us getting ready. Kelly, one of my sweet bridesmaid's mommas did our makeup! LOVED IT!!! I need her to move in with my and do my makeup every morning! haha!
Once we were ready, we took pics with my bridesmaids, then Lexie took a few of me since I didn't have a bridal session. Then it was time for me to see Kip. When Lexie went to get him...I lost it. Seriously-boo hooing like a little baby. All the emotions hit at the one moment. I'm talking U-G-L-Y cry. I collected myself enough to finally walk down the isle and say Kip's name...but as soon as he turned around I lost it again. I just boo-hooed. I am emotional anyway....but I was super emotional. After a few minutes of us just hugging and talking, we got to relax. No cameras or anything for a few minutes. I felt 10000000 times better after getting to see Kip. After we completed pictures, I had to go into hiding. I could see all the cars in the parking lot, and began to get really nervous and emotional again. I held my composure though. At about 10 minutes until 2pm, I headed up to the vestibule to line up. The church was PACKED. I mean like FULLLLL. People were sitting in the balcony. I began to worry that we weren't going to have enough food, seats, etc. But as I started walking down the isle, I completely forgot about all the people that were there. I don't remember much of the ceremony, except that when we were doing the unity candle, I got wax all over my fingers, ring, and face. It burned so bad! Kip wiped the wax off my face (I know, I know...how do you get wax on your face??). Then it was over and we headed to the reception. When we walked in, there was hardly room to walk. It was PACKED! I panicked and finally realized that they had set up MORE tables in the back of the gym! Perfectly fine with me...calmed my nerves a little about the seating. We didn't really get to eat much. We tried to sit down and eat but people kept coming up to us to talk and that is perfectly fine! I got to see people I haven't seen in years and it was awesome! We left the church about 4:15...we did the bouquet toss (and I am such a bad person that I have no idea who caught it! Maybe Molly? Geez I am a bad friend! :( But then the garter toss...none of the guys went for it, but Fred shoved it in his pocket! haha! We left with bubbles being blown in our faces and got in a Sheriff car! We drove off with lights and siren and all! It was so awesome!! We drove to Mike Osborn's house to pick up my car and leave the sheriff car, but Kip forgot my car keys at the church! HAHA!! So back to the church we go! It worked out good though...I got to change clothes and gather all my stuff.
It was the best day we could have ever asked for! I cannot wait to get my pictures back! Our photographer just told me she hopes to have them by the end of this week! YAY!!
Here are a few pics that I stole from people's facebook and instagram accounts! :)
Perfect day, perfect weather, perfect everything!!

Until Next Time,
Wedding Preparations
The week of the wedding I was beyond nervous, excited, stressed, happy, just completely filled with all different emotions. The Thrusday before the wedding, I got a spray tan for the first time ever. I was so nervous about it. I was so afraid I was going to look orange and fake, but it turned out perfect! Funny thing though....I wasn't suppose to wear a bra and I had to go to the grocery store....and then to Oxford to pick up tuxes. So I had to make it work! Haha! I did go to the grocery store with no bra on though (TMI?).
We went to Bowties in Oxford to pick up and try on tuxes. All the groomsmen met us there except Justin and Clai. Clai works in Oxford, so he got his on his lunch break and Justin was coming home from Orlando, so he wasn't there in time. Everyone's tuxes fit...except Kip's dad. His was too big!! And Kyle said his worked, but it was a little small. Big Kip and Kyle decided to swap tuxes and everything fit perfectly!! Thank you Lord!!
Friday morning, I got up and went to mine and Kip's house. I had planned a Bridesmaids brunch for my bridesmaids. I had cooked breakfast...nothing fancy-just breakfast casserole, biscuits, and fruit. We hung out and I gave them their gifts! (SUPER EXCITED TO DO THAT BY THE WAY!) I got them a little makeup bag and in the bag I had rolled up a tshirt....it had a fabric pocket on it that had their initials. Each girl's was different. After we ate breakfast and hung out a little while, I had to make a pit stop at work. I was going to be gone for a whole week, so Max needed the debit card and it was locked up in my office! After Jillian and I went to work, we met everyone else at the church. They were decorating for the reception and the rehearsal dinner. We had some stuff to take to the church to set up too, and I am so thankful that my bridesmaids helped me out! We went to get our nails done after that! Then off to the rehearsal!
I am so upset that I don't have ANY pics from the day, other than one. Hopefully somebody took pics! :)
The Rehearsal went fairly smoothly I think. We had dinner first to give everyone time to get there! After the rehearsal, some of our friends came to the house and we hung out until time for bed!

Lingerie Shower & Bachelorette Weekend!
January 18th, we sweet bridesmaids threw me a lingerie shower. Unfortunately, I do not have ANY pics from the shower! :( I was SOOOOO sick and did not feel good at all, but I was a champ the whole weekend and made it through! I think Jillian took some pics, so I am going to have to get her to send them to me!
The lingerie shower was at Lindsey's house! It was decorated so cute!! After the shower, we headed to an undisclosed location (I was completely unaware of where we were going.) They all had a great time making me nervous and keeping me on the edge. We ended up in Hoover. We stayed at the Homewood Suites (I think...) and it was extremely nice! We went to a place in Hoover to paint. It was so much fun!! I wish I hadn't been on edge all day and night wondering what we were going to be doing! After we painted, we went to Olive Garden! It was delicious! We went back to the hotel and we crashed before midnight. WILD NIGHT...let me tell you! HaHa! We were all joking about it the next morning...how we were party animals all night because we went to bed so early! Haha! But it was a great weekend and I appreciate my sweet bridesmaids for such a wonderful weekend! I am so sad that I only have one picture from the whole weekend! Maybe Jillian has some more!! Hope so anyway! :)
