The first few months went by so fast! We enjoyed spending time with our friends and celebrating my 30th birthday! I share a birthday with my sweet Nana, and it is always special to spend time with her on our birthday!
We enjoyed the day at the McWane Science Center in Birmingham in February. Bentley like the toddler area and the train tracks the most!
We celebrated the new lives of 2 of our sweet LifeGroup friends. Baby boy and baby girl are both due in March! We also participated in Serve Day with our LifeGroup by doing Brown Bag Buddies for local low-income elementary school students to take home during Spring Break.
Since I was off for part of the week of Spring Break (a super amazing perk of my job!), we headed to Chattanooga with some friends and spent the day at the Aquarium and the park.
Kip was in a wedding for a long-time friend of ours. We got to enjoy a night of mommy-daddy time, which doesn't happen often! We also got to spend some time with friends we don't get to see near as much as we would like!
We attended a marriage conference that our church had in April. United 2018. We have never been to a marriage conference before, and we had the best time! We are BLESSED to be a part of Meadowbrook and a part of an awesome LifeGroup!
Another awesome perk of my job is getting free tickets to events! We were able to get tickets to the "A Night in Africa" event at the Birmingham Zoo in April. Bentley had a blast and riding the train was his favorite thing of all!
April ended with yard work and redoing some landscaping around the house! New plants, new mulch, and new landscape lighting. Bentley had fun helping us!
A dream come true for this baby! He got to meet Chase! He was SO excited and only a little scared. Daddy had to go with him, but he gave Chase a big hug and a high five!
